Time and space for the shot

Photographers need time. On a private safari you decide when to wait for the light, stay with a sighting or head out before sunrise.

Our Land Cruisers have a pop-up roof and a guaranteed window seat for everyone, with charging ports for batteries. Our guides know where the action is — and how to position the vehicle for it.

Questions

Good to know

How much camera gear can I bring?

On road safaris, bring what you need in soft bags. On light aircraft the limit is about 15 kg per person, including camera gear — an extra seat can sometimes be booked.

When is the best time?

July to October for river crossings and dry-season light; December to March for calving and green landscapes.

Can I charge batteries?

Yes, our vehicles have charging ports, and lodges have power in the evenings.
