About Ruaha National Park

Ruaha is one of Tanzania’s largest and wildest parks, far from the busy northern circuit. Baobab-studded hills and the Great Ruaha River create a dramatic, rugged landscape.

Few visitors make it here, so sightings feel private. The park is known for big lion prides, large elephant herds and antelope such as greater and lesser kudu.
