After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to the Seronera area of the Central Serengeti. Enjoy this short flight and the view of Tanzania below. Your guide will be waiting at the airstrip to transfer you to the camp for lunch and an afternoon rest.
The Serengeti National Park is one of the greatest and most acclaimed national parks in the world, spanning over 14,000 km² and teeming with extraordinary wildlife. The name Serengeti comes from a Maasai word meaning ‘endless plains’. The Serengeti is synonymous with an African safari, with vast sweeping savannah landscapes, rocky lookouts, and stunning sunsets. It is an important place to visit for many dreaming of an African safari, and for good reason, too.
Later in the afternoon, you will embark on your first game drive into the Serengeti.

If you are lucky and patient, you may get to witness the dangerous crossing whereby the wildebeest and zebras brave the river’s currents and the crocodiles that lie beneath. This deadly crossing is made by thousands of animals annually as they follow the pastures into the Masai Mara in Kenya.
